This place is surrounded by old oaks, araucarias, eucalyptus, casuarinas and magnolias and offers a stunning natural setting to the park covered by jasmine, rose and lime tree scents. The 300-hectare farm's main activity is cattle raising; Hereford and Aberdeen Angus are bred. Here we can do horse riding, have a trip on sulky or walk around to learn more about the place. At midday, we will taste a delicious native asado.

Puerto Madryn - San Guillermo Farm

Transfer from Puerto Madryn Airport towards San Guillermo Farm, a typical Patagonian farm run by Cristina and Alfredo, its owners, where we will taste a delicious Patagonian asado. Afternoon off to rest. San Guillermo Farm was initially devoted to sheep breeding.

Nowadays, the rural facilities are used to teach this old activity to visitors. We will do some interpretative walks to see the autochthonous flora and fauna; we can also witness a sheep shearing demonstration (if it is the shearing season). We can do horse riding along the beach that is just 1.5 km away from the farm. In the evening, we will go back to the farm and take a rest.
San Guillermo Farm
Breakfast at the hotel. We can see the sheep shearing and do unique content, biological and paleontological walks. To do all this, we will go down some deep big gullies covered by the Patagonian Sea 30 million years ago, and stop by and watch some fossils. We can do horse riding along the country and head for the fascinating Lobería de Punta Loma (Punta Loma Sea Lion Rookery), which is home to the seals of the region. We may try herding sheep on horseback, or do bird-watching or farming activities near the ranch house.
Ushuaia - Viamonte Farm
Breakfast at the farm. Transfer from Trelew Airport to take a flight towards Ushuaia, the most southern city in the world. Transfer to Viamonte Farm. Going along the Atlantic Coast of Tierra del Fuego, we will see the Farm with its typical Patagonian steppe landscapes surrounded by virgin wildlife. There is a crossing of mounts, hills and meadows full of ñires, which depicts a dream-like landscape. The Farm is devoted to the sheep, bovine and horse breeding, apart from sheltering guanacos, condors, upland gooses, bandurrias, and other native species.

Traditional and modern farming systems are combined. Most of the activities, such as shearing, grass baling, cattle branding and herding are done in summer. Viamonte Farm was founded in 1902, with the aim of protecting the Ona Indians (Selknam), by the sons of Reverend Thomas Bridges, who was the first European man that had lived in Tierra del Fuego. Lucas Bridges was the author of the book "Uttermost Part of the Earth"; his brothers were Despard and Will. They did everything they could to help the Indians, apart from teaching their own language and giving shelter.
Viamonte Farm
Breakfast at the farm. We will do activities or go on excursions within Viamonte Farm land, close to the Río Grande (Big River) in Tierra del Fuego Island.
Tierra del Fuego National Park - Meeting with Beavers
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start out journey walking along Tierra del Fuego National Park heading for Austral Fueguino railway station to get on the "Train of the End of the World." Tierra del Fuego National Park was opened in 1960 over 63,000 hectares of Patagonian forest and part of the mountain range of Andes Mountains. The climate there ranges from template to cold and humid, snowy and rainy in winter, and it has craggy and steep mountains and glacial valleys.

We will enjoy watching forests of lenga, ñire and mazzard cherry tree; rivers, lakes and peat bogs; the Beagle Channel and the paths leading to the southernmost nature landscape in the world. Along the way, we will stop by Pipo River valley towards Ensenada Bay, where we will see Redonda and Estorbo Islands, and on the other side of the Beagle Channel we will see the Snowy Peaks of Sampaio Chain (Chile).

We will head for Roca Lake to do trekking along the coast of the Lake and the Lapataia River. Here we can see the border set up by nature between Argentina and the Andean country of Chile: the Condor Hill. Finally, we will reach Lapataia Bay, on the other side of Tierra del Fuego National Park, where we will see Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon) and Laguna Negra (Black Lagoon).

Before getting back, we will see the dams built by beavers over the stream. At sunset, we will go to Solar del Bosque refuge, where we will do trekking to the beavers' shelter surrounding the forest and enjoy watching the behavior of this destructive, not autochthonous rodent which is destroying Tierra del Fuego National Park. We will get back at night since dinner at the refuge will be waiting for us.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Ushuaia Airport to take a flight to Calafate. We will be welcomed at Calafate Airport to be taken to Nibepo Aike Farm. We will do horse riding into a valley close to Argentine Lake, where we will watch the autochthonous wildlife and see bandurrias, great bustards, flying steamer ducks and southern lapwings. Bordering the coastline, we will see forests of rocks eroded due to glacial erosion.

Here we can see the cracks of the earth's crust that can be seen due to the diverse sediment that originated them. Over time these formations have formed a natural amphitheatre with eaves of up to 10 meters high, which go deep into the water as in breakwaters, resulting in calm beaches of irregular shapes.

Here we will see the Argentine border with Chile and see the stunning Agudo Hill of more than 1,700 meters high. We will get back to Nibepo Aike Farm along lenga and ñire forests, where are southern crested caracaras, hares, parrots, falcons, woodpeckers, eagles and condors.

So we will have a unique view of the stunning walls of Perito Moreno Glacier and the constant rock falls into the waters of Rico Lake. We will start our trekking along the coastline of the lake up to the glacier. We will land in the Western coast of Viedma Lake on the lateral glacier moraine. This is a privileged location of Los Glaciares National Park Reserve, area of the largest colony of the Patagonian huemul: it is a native deer in danger of extinction in the Southern Patagonia because another predatory deer, the Red Deer, invaded the area.

The Patagonian huemul is an extremely shy animal and hard to see. We might spot one drinking water on the banks of Viedma Lake or grazing on the Patagonian undergrowth.
