| IBERA MARSHES - Irupé Lodge |
|
Stay at the Lodge with all available services included to have a closer view of these unrepeatable landscapes in the Argentine region. |

“Full Irupé Countryside" Program
Getting closer to life in nature, undoubtedly, is an experience that we will never forget because during 5 days we will be in permanent contact with animals and vegetation of these marvelous streams and lakes, doing varied activities in order to interpret this ecosystem that we should take care of in order to keep it going.
We will do some walks, horseback riding near the shore of the lakes, a safari along the streams to see the animals and vegetations living in harmony, and watch several bird species.
Watching closer, without disturbing, the interaction of the fauna and vegetation with the environment will make us feel part of them, as we will share part of their lives in one of the most respected ecosystems in South America.
Besides we combine our stay in the comfortable rooms of the Lodge —of rural style but excellent service— with scenery of lakes and a relaxing environment according to the visited place.

Getting there - Carlos Pellegrini
We will go to Jorge Newbery Airport. We will be welcomed at Posadas Airport and we will head for the lodge. Once accommodated, we will get ready for lunch.
We will have the afternoon free to relax by the swimming pool or do some optional activity in the lodge. We could ride a horse and go along paths or walk to discover animals, plants and trees of different species, apart from watching a wide variety of birds that will accompany us during our stay there.
At night, we will have dinner and then we will do our first guided activity: a safari to watch nocturnal fauna and flora, and to be dazzled by the typical sounds of the region such as those coming from the vegetation, marshes and insects. We will watch the stars in the open, weather permitting.

Birdwatching in the Iguazu National Park
Breakfast at the Lodge. On our second day in the Lodge, we will watch birds while doing trekking or riding a horse throughout the day. In this way, we will discover the secrets of the ideal places for birdwatching in the Pampas.
We will probably see Paraguayan laces, strange-tailed tyrant, white monjitas, yellow cardinals and, apart from birds, viscachas, giant armadillos and owls, among other species. Birds’ sounds and colors will make us have an unforgettable moment in this natural environment. Around midday, we will have the honor of having lunch in the house of a gaucho family, where we will learn about their customs, cattle and sheep raising.
Besides, we will also participate in the rural activities and so have a unique experience.
We will go on by horse or walking to discover more birds and other animals, as well as plants. Then we will get back to the Lodge and have dinner.

Sea Safari along Streams and Lagoons
Breakfast at the Lodge. We will get ready to do a sea safari along Iberá streams and lagoons, as well as distant islands, where we will watch the wildlife: alligators, capybaras, river lions, marsh deer and sea birds. We will do this activity at dawn.
At midday, we will have lunch and then we will have the afternoon free to do some activity we like such as cart riding; horse riding through the marshland and woodland; spending the day with gauchos to enjoy their rural stories, watch them ride a horse and lasso some animals; walking around the area or just resting comfortably in our rooms or in the shade of big trees.
