Península Valdés
Breakfast at the hotel. We will spend the
day in Peninsula Valdes (tour to see the
whales included). This natural paradise
takes us to the sea fauna in their natural
habitat. It is possible to see elephant
seals, sea birds and the main character
of the peninsula: the Southern Right Whale
that can be found in the waters of Puerto
Pirámides from July to middle December. |

Cerro Avanzado & Lobería Punta Loma (Seal Colonies)
Breakfast at the hotel. We will visit the Punta Loma Provincial Fauna Reserve (17 kilometers from Puerto Madryn). This protected area preserves a permanent colony of seals and many cormorant colonies. After that we will follow the coastal path to reach the top of "Playa del Pozo" hill, an ideal point to appreciate the sea and the coast of Península Valdés.

Punta
Tombo
Breakfast at the hotel. During the morning,
we will go to the penguin rookery in Punta
Tombo, which is one of the largest colonies
of continental penguins of the world, where,
depending on the season, it is possible
to observe their reproductive cycle. In
Punta Tombo, penguins can be found from
September to middle March. Back to Puerto
Madryn.

Florencio
Ameghino Dam
Breakfast at the hotel. We will visit the
hydroelectric dam, the formed dam and the
tourist village with its river. The latter
is surrounded by a rural landscape, with
colorful hills and fickle formations that
provide the place with a very particular
tone. This is situated at 200 kilometers
from Puerto Madryn. Besides visiting the
Dam and Villa Florentino Ameghino, we will
visit the Dolayon town and the area of small
farms in Valle Inferior of the Chubut River.
